A Community Partnership
UI Open Gym is a partnership between Underrated Individuals Limited and Oxford City Council, designed to bring accessible sports programming directly into communities across Oxford.
This collaboration combines our grassroots expertise with council resources and community networks to create sustainable opportunities for young people who have traditionally been excluded from organised sports.
What We Offer
UI Open Gym provides free community sessions where young people can try new activities in a supportive, non-competitive environment. No experience necessary. No pressure. Just an opportunity.
Opportunity Security
Every child deserves the chance to discover what they're capable of.
UI Open Gym secures those opportunities by:
Removing Financial Barriers - All sessions are completely free with equipment provided
Creating Access - Bringing activities directly into communities using local parks and spaces
Building Pathways - Connecting talented individuals with clubs and development opportunities
Ensuring Safety - Qualified coaches, comprehensive insurance, and rigorous safety protocols
Fostering Inclusion - Welcoming all abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels
